Meet Lady Mirage

The Lady - Contrary to the royal colors of the page, and the glamour of the picture, I'm most comfortable in jeans and a t-shirt. I live in a small desert town outside Palm Springs, CA. - Desert Hot Springs, affectionately referred to as Mayberry. It's a quiet life that suits me. The town is slow, the people are slow, and it's very relaxing. I grew up on Long Island, NY and moved to the Los Angeles area at age 21, and settled here in September, 1997. I'm a web graphic designer for a living, and all the graphics on this page are my creation.
Michael My Business Partner - Appropriately nicknamed "The Webmonster," Michael is not your average person. We met in September of 1996, by way of America Online. Michael lived in Northern CA, so we began our business together working by phone and via the internet, until we decided enough was enough, and moved here together to save the finances. Michael is the best partner a person could ask for.
Dillon, my "psuedo-stepson" - At age 10, Dillon is wise beyond his years. He shares his Dad's love of computers, and we call him "The Webmonster, Jr." He wins the hearts of all who meet him and is the most adaptable person I know. He's my sunshine, always there with a big bright smile to warm my heart. It won't be long before he's competing with his Dad in all things computer.

My Family - I've extremely blessed to have a loving and supportive family, who have all been there whenever I needed them. Although I live a distance from all of them, we've never lost our closeness. My wonderful mother and her long time companion, Bill; My brother,Tom and my Dad, who's no longer with us (we miss you Dad!); My sister, Colleen and niece, Kara; My brother-in-law, Ken and my nephew, Gregg.
The Creatures - I love all animals, and would have a zoo if it were practical. Our animals are like our children, they're wonderful company, not to mention very entertaining. Flash, at top, passed away November, 2000. He was a miniature pinscher who thought he was a doberman. He believed he owned the world, and got very upset if anyone or anything stirred in our neighborhood. As far as he was concerned, he was the boss, and made sure everyone knew it.We miss you, Flash! Kodi is a Keeshond, very loving and he gives the best hugs. He was rescued from being an outside dog tied to a chain day and night. He's very grateful, and puts up with Flash because of it. Kodi loves attention, and thinks he's a lap dog. Next is Midnight, a black pound kitty that has very quickly taken over Flash's spot as boss. And the newest addition, Mirage - who lives up to her name quite well. She's a bit shy, and when she hides, NOBODY can find her, we just have to wait until she's ready to show herself once again.

Special Things - Material "things" are not important to me. Desert sunsets from my house, jack rabbits and roadrunners, caring neighbors and friends - those are important to me. There's nothing like living in the desert and seeing snow-capped mountains in every direction. Nothing like seeing the city lights at night. Long car drives and sharing time with special people, those are the things important to me.
